Good regular maintenance

Maintenance is an important means of controlling VvE costs. To this end, a multi-year maintenance plan (MJOP) is drawn up. The MJOP shows the expected maintenance expenses. Once the maintenance costs are known, it is important to reserve money for them. That way there is always enough money available for major maintenance.

With proper and regular maintenance, installations function more efficiently with lower energy consumption. Parts last longer and the risk of (consequential) damage is lower. Less wear and tear and lower maintenance costs.

Careful financial administration

VvEs are required by law to set aside money annually through a reserve fund for "other than ordinary annual expenses. In addition, a VvE must prepare financial statements. These, together with the budget, are adopted annually during the General Assembly of apartment owners (ALV). In short: a lot of regulation!
