A'DAM Tower, Amsterdam

Amstelius conducted a technical due diligence for the current owners and initiators of the A'DAM Tower in late 2019.

The building is situated in a unique location in the heart of the city on the IJ bank opposite Amsterdam Central Station. The complex has an area of approximately 22,700^m2 GLA and consists of a reception area on the first floor with club Shelter in the basement area and 21 floors, including the revolving restaurant Moon and the A'DAM Lookout. The adjacent parking garage has 230 parking spaces for visitors and employees.

The original building, commissioned by Royal Shell in the late 1960s, was officially named Tower Overhoeks, more popularly known as the "Shell Tower. After its sale in 2014, the building was thoroughly renovated on behalf of the current owners in collaboration with Lingotto. In the process, this landmark was transformed from office building to the A'DAM Tower an iconic and creative 'dance and music' building.

The building functions as a vertical 24-hour city (including 24-hour permit) with the lookout point the A'DAM Lookout with the tallest swings in Europe, the revolving restaurant Moon on the roof, club Shelter in the basement, hotel Sir ADAM and office floors for companies in the music industry.

Meanwhile, the A'DAM Tower is a true tourist hotspot that attracts an average of 800,000 visitors annually.
