Solar roof Hettenheuvel I. Amsterdam

Amstelius completed a solar farm with a total of 178 solar panels on the roof of the Hettenheuvel I. office building in Amsterdam in December 2017.

Amstelius completely relieves building owner NSI in the construction and operation of the solar power system.

We develop, finance, place, and, operate, and maintain the solar system over the term of at least 16 years. By making clever use of an ESCo, Amstelius has been able to realize the amount of the solar system rental almost entirely within the savings on gray energy. Building owner NSI therefore does have all the benefits of using the solar power system, while NSI has virtually no costs.

Solar energy provides a number of benefits to the building owner. For example, the building owner contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions. Also, the building owner becomes less dependent on the use and price fluctuations of fossil fuels.
