Energy Audit

Insight into energy consumption and energy-saving measures

Companies and organisations are required to carry out an energy audit every four years. This requirement is a component part of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), an European guideline promoting measures for reduced energy consumption in companies and organisations. We have the ability and capability to execute an EED in conformity with the set guidelines. This provides quick and easy insight into energy consumption, possible energy-saving measures and their practical application. A company or organisation is often aware of the need to take precautions. But in the daily frenzy and commotion of running a bustling business, the sense of urgency to comply with these measures is not always top of mind. We put this process into perspective and draw up a transparent financial overview.

EED AND CLIMATE TARGETS

FOR WHOM IS AN EED MANDATORY?

The energy audit is obligatory for organisations with more than 250 employees or annual turnover of more than €50 million and an annual balance sheet total of more than €43 million.

A WAIVER APPLIES TO:

  • Companies or organisations that participate in the MJA3 and MEE convenants and have signed multi-year agreements with the government in respect to energy efficiency;
  • Companies in possession of an ISO 50001 or ISO 14051 certification;
  • Company entities that have implemented an energy or environmental care system and are in possession of a CO2 performance ladder as of Level 3.

RELIABLE REFLECTION OF YOUR ENERGY CONSUMPTION

We have the know-how within Amstelius to organise the energy audit and complete the EED report to the satisfaction of the Environmental Authority. We can provide a reliable reflection of energy consumption and potential energy-saving measures, drawn up within the norms and standards of the directive. The Environmental Authority under which the company or organisations falls is the controlling body.

SUSTAINABLE MULTI-YEAR MAINTENANCE PLANNING

In addition, we can draw up a sustainable multi-year maintenance planning, in which energy-saving measures as set forth in the EED or in the EPA-U Customised Consultancy are enshrined in a maintenance plan. Natural replacement timeslots for elements of architectural or installation technology are used as energy-saving alternatives as far as possible. And this reduces the operational cost of energy maintenance, reduces CO2 and creates comfortable and healthy living conditions. Read more about the sustainable multi-year maintenance planning..
